GOBO AND SLIDES

A Gobo is best compared to a circular stencil or photographic
slide. They are used in Gobo projectors to attract consumer attention
and are popular in retail, event and exhibition spaces. Gobos can be
made of metal or glass and range in sizes. Metal Gobos are cheaper
to manufacture than glass Gobos but they are limited on detail ( only
available in black and white ) and do not last as long as glass Gobos.
Glass Gobos are manufactured with a unique dark mirror coating on
the reverse side of the Gobo that drastically cuts down on internal
reflections within the lamp and produces a sharper projection.
There is no limitation to the number of colours that can be used but
users must be aware that some colours will work better than others.
White on black designs will work in all situations. CASSETTES
GoboPro projectors are extremely powerful. The use of 35 mm 2 50 mm static and/rotating cassettes are unique
